    We get a lot of queries from our EU clients and associates on how EU citizens can become Cyprus tax residents and what the process of obtaining a tax residency certificate is.

    As such, we have prepared the below checklist to assist everyone interested in this:

    Obtain the Registration Certificate for EU Nationals (commonly referred to as the "Yellow Slip")

    Become a Cyprus tax resident

    Obtain your Tax Residency Certificate

    • the submitted personal income tax return via the TAXISnet online system.
    • your Certificate of Emoluments (form IR63) for the year in question from your Employer.
    • the Yellow Slip.
    • Submitted and stamped non-dom form & Questionnaire - See the process of obtaining these here.
    • Passport / ID copy.
    • Rental/Residence purchase agreement showing current residential address.
